Laurence Kerr Olivier, nombrado Barón Olivier y conocido artísticamente como Laurence Olivier, OM (Dorking, Inglaterra, 22 de mayo de 1907 – Steyning, Inglaterra, 11 de julio de 1989) fue un actor y director británico.

....Casado en segundas nupcias con Vivien Leigh, se divorcia para casarse con la actríz británica Joan Plowright.
Al morir Vivien, Laurence se encontraba en el Hospital, pero al ser avisado de la noticia pidió el alta voluntaria y acudió inmediatamente al lado de Vivien. Él mismo relata en sus memorias, que permaneció junto a ella a solas «pidiéndose perdón por todo el daño que se habían hecho». Siempre la recordaría como el gran amor de su vida.
